... until the ceilings break. Looking at the en route forecast, it appears what's keeping us on the ground is really just a low, thin broken layer. Most locations to the northwest show scattered clouds at 4500' and 6500'. So, presuming we can get around the layer at 1000', we'll be on our way. ... housework and maintenance would be enormous. One home, the James Newton and Eva Tabor-Rayzor house was completed in 1909 and is a "Prairie Style" house. Their descendants lived in it until 1978. It has a state of Texas historic plate on it. The street is lined with Post Oaks, which are endemic to this area, they really set a serene, stately scene as you walk along. Mike's son was kind enough to allow us to use his home as a base for the 3 months we were roaming around the USA. His spare room became the storage space for our detritus and treasures.
