I must have been a sight with the scrapes, bruises, bites and black-bottomed bathing suit. We free-camped again that night from a beautiful view point and then headed to Kaikoura. We had grand plans to paddle-board in Kaikoura but ended up free-camping for a night and doing some reading. We stopped off on the ocean highway to ...
... had got sucked in and untied itself. The girls protected Clare's modesty. Returned to our van and had lovely homemade Clare quiche and salads for our meal. Left all the clearing up till tomorrow. Girls went to do toiletries while Tony battled with making two double beds in a very confined space. Poor Clare is on the top bed and her nose is about 6 inches from the roof.......but that's part of the fun. All settled down and I expect we will be awake ...
