... who have owned the land for 40 years (1,000 acres, and barely a square foot of it flat). The drive takes us up over the peninsula to a pass at about 2000ft and back down the other side to where we were to spend the next 2 nights. That road is barely one lane at best, and not a guard rail to be seen!

... however fortunately it just wasn’t being manned and we could pay for our petrol first at a machine before filling up. Mike’s first card wasn’t accepted, and so with no cash on us, all fingers and toes were crossed for Mike’s final card to work, otherwise Byron would not be pleased with a phone call requesting a 3 hour round trip to bring us petrol. Thankfully the card was accepted, we filled the tank and we were on our way. The girls were all sleeping in no time.

We did the walkthrough to go over the features of the van and do a damage inspection. However, we had to wait a little longer for the extra equipment we had requested to be put inside.
