  • Today was a very relaxing day in Hartlepool. The entire day was ours to do as we pleased when we pleased. Eddie took us for a drive and we saw about 30 wind turbines standing in the ocean several hundred meters off the coast of Hartlepool. Rather a strange sight. Went for a walk around the marina and had a coffee at a lovely wee place called Bar 516.

... Get this - we went to Scotland on Wednesday! The first thing I saw when we arrived was a bagpipe-playing busker - oh Scotland and your stereotypes!! We explored so much, but I definitely wore the wrong shoes... there is an incredible place called Arthur's Seat - most fantastic view - and just pure bliss while up there. We didn't have time to climb the mountain but that'll happen in Easter!

... it since I first saw it. And oh my was it amazing!!! All it needed was a bottle of wine and a cheese board and I would have been set. We then made our way to to the White cross! Finally made it to the pub we have heard so much about!! It was so gorgeous!!! And i am sure it would have been a very fun night If the tide was high. They had a separate entrance for when it was high tide. But it must get really high as the pub would be at least 5m high. We got there just as it ...
