Last Day with the Shifrins

Ladies Day Out
... home just before 7pm to a lovely dinner of homemade calzones.
While this was going on, Tim, Brett and the kids made their way back to the camp on the lake and spent the day on the sailboat, tubing, kayaking, swimming, eating hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and all around relaxing. 3 Peaks and 3 Beers
Today was going to be boys' day as Tim and Brett and two of his friends had an ambitious walking plan which basically consisted of 3 Peaks and 3 beers!!!! Before I get too far into the detail of this day, I will back up and talk about what Jess, Sara and the 4 kids got up to for the day. After the Dads left, they packed up the car and headed out to the movies to see "Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days". Playing and Building
... kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking and even had a wee ride on a tube behind the motorboat. Big E kept putting his thumb up for the boat to go faster, little realising that the small outboard motor was pulling them as fast as it possibly could go. Back with friends
... frosting. While the cake was cooling, we went down to join the rest of the crew at the beach and all had a quick swim and then returned home for a wonderful dinner of homemade pizza. Kids and grown-ups hung out and after the kids went to bed, we began our nightly ritual of playing board games. Tonight was Monopoly and it went down as one of the quickest games in history and before you knew it, Tim was victorious.
