    Today we hopped on our bikes and took a 28km bike ride. What a day! Bikes rule in Holland, with their own lanes and traffic lights. Everyone of all ages ride their bikes, it's quite something to see. Pedestrians come after the Almighty Bike and then the lowly car.

    We left Tante Magda's in the morning and rode along the bike paths through the forests and farmer fields to the town of Heeze. ...

    It was a stay close to home day. We had a lazy mornng, restocked groceries and waited for SusanM to arrive for lunch. Some went to the Phillips Museum in the afternoon, either by bike or by bus. It was an extremely well curated museum with lots of interactive exhibits, although it was a bit self promoting.

    ... for controls in, I realise that I'm still wearing my pack! Amanda isn’t...she’s learned her lesson from the first run. Possibly because of the extra effort I'm putting in I completely stuff up the first control. One I realise my mistake and steer us towards the correct part of the trail everything falls into place.     ... Magda is a lovely women, a retired school teacher in her early 80's. She's full of stories and in great shape, she cycled to Belgium with Nancy on Sunday (20 km each way) they had Trappist beer and a croquet for lunch. (Mark I thought you might be jealous of her having such easy access to Belgian Trappist beer....)
