      One of the best things about Bodrum is the fascinating underwater discovery museum, housed in a castle overlooking the blue waters. In this museum, we were treated to viewing artifacts from Greek shipwrecks from 500 years BC and onward.       ... we passed through some mountains and got closer to the coast the towns became more prosperous with huge resorts at the entrance to Bodrum which is a big tourist town. It's pretty empty at the moment and we are the only people at the small boutique hotel where we are staying.

      ... those last minute souvenirs then its back to the hotel Vista. I indulge in an outdoor swim as the sun goes down not at all warm in fact the water I am sure was halfway between the fridge and the freezer in temperature.       ... Joey really wanted to go here first so the guide agreed and off we went. It is a quaint stone house above Ephesus. It was crowded but the line moved quickly - no photos were allowed. For me it could have been any cute house anywhere. Then after a longer line for the washroom we hopped back on our van and headed down to Ephesus.
