... Hotel! We can't figure out how they got so many excellent reviews on TripAdvisor.com! As expected, our 4 star hotel in the main city is wonderful. It's only a year old and right across from the port where large cruise ships can anchor. Our room is air conditioned, clean and modern, with a very nice bathroom and shower. At the village of Etrim there are around 300 hundred residents and we met the local mayor, Engin, who is a very young man and he turned down, after 2 years study, a promising university maths career. Someone told me what the sponge did. If you touch it, he said, it makes it appear on Facebook as if you're having a great time. All ex boyfriends and ex girlfriends, friends and ex friends, enemies and maybe even ex enemies if ...

From Symi, we took the ferry to Leros, another island but bigger than Symi. Unexpectedly we were picked up from the ferry port and taken to the hotel. Our hotel room overlooked the castle and the hotel overlooked a lovely bay, Panteli Beach, which we could walk to for dinner. We sat right on the waters edge and enjoyed a traditional Greek meal of octopus for Andrew and baked aubergine for ...
