The last week
... round. Our second week in Weihai didn't plan out as well as the first. We were supposed to have a different activity to do each afternoon but only managed to do one of them. On Monday we had our Mandarin lessons as usual where I managed to pick up the name of Hanzi Queen (hanzi being Chinese characters). It's all knots
... it was time to bring the boats back onto the beach so we could pack everything away again. I have to say, it is a lot easier taking everything down than it is putting it all up. With the boats all clean and put away the bus had arrived to take us back to the campus. By the time we got back everyone was exhausted. We decided to give the beach a miss for tonight since it wasn’t that sunny anyway and head for bed.

The Party
... to our classroom for another 3 hours of lessons. This round of lessons we moved onto actual words rather than just their sounds. The mandarin lesson finished and we all headed to the beach, Oliver stayed behind with a few others to wait for a man to sort out the internet which took blooming ages.
