I know it is amazing... like how did they erect these things 3000 years ago?

I can't tell you anything you already didn't know about this place I'm afraid, except that you get just as close from outside the perimeter fence as you do if you pay the entry fee so why pay?

There is a nice gated entry to the cathederal gounds. I particulary like the sheep and the boot hang above the shops next door to show the illiterates what they sell. Now I konw where to get my sheeps boots ;-)

Across the road is a tudor style house, the builder must of been drunk when laying the floor for the second story.

Minor disaster behind us we went for a potter around this pretty village. I have since discoverd that I didn't take really any photos which do the place justice. But what I can say is that this place is much more to it that a Cathederal.

10am and were having brunch at the Pavillion with said friends and almost birthday girl Emily at Victoria Park in Mile End - Lovely park and great organic food. Highly recommended.
Kim and I used to run around this park while training for our 1/2 marathons so it is a somber fairwell.

3pm back at the flat to hand the keys back to the landlord and ...

On Monday morning we checked out and then went to Venice Beach and Santa Monica where we shopped some more. We then took the car back and went to the airport. The flight left at 17:35 and was just over 9 hours. We arrived home yesterday at around 11:20am UK time.

... and "find myself" like many people have suggested, but rather see what's out there. I don't plan on drinking snake's blood or running over hot coals (unless i'm smashed or paid to do it mind). Just wanna try new food, see nice things and have 6 MONTHS OFF WORK!!!! :D

Well not too much else to say at this point, fingers crossed in a few weeks I'll have more to report. Blog is now up and running, next step Bangkok.

... Sonya was overjoyed with how friendly everyone was being especially since we were in such a hurry. I commented that they were prolly flashing us because I was flashing them in the effort to get out of my clothes.
