... train station was right near
the beach so we went there first and let me say it was definitely not as good
as the beaches that we have at home. But it was nice though, similar to Sydney I
guess… there were lots of people! But not many people swimming which didn’t surprise

The five star hotel in Qingdao was right on the beach, with great views of both the mountains and the sea. This is also an important Chinese Navy port - five submarines and various other ships were in port with us.

This area also has an ...

Today we start with our usual scheme: 7-8-9 meaning rolling at 9 am. We are taking a bus to see the old city around the pier. The houses look similar to Europe. This town including the beer factory is built by Germans. After visiting the pier we go for lunch in the heritage restaurant in Jiang Ming Fan Zhaang where we enjoy the traditional music played alive in the place. During the lunch they are selling paintings ...
