..And there's another museum!!!!
There are so many museums in Amsterdam that you would probably not do them justice in a month, and they cater to all interests.There is a handbag museum, a Tropical Museum, a resistance Museum, many art museums etc...Over our 4 days here we visited the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh, the Van Loon ( a canal house) and the Tropical Museum...3 of these today as John's friend Anne (HI ANNE) lent us a museum pass that allowed us to enter free and via the fast lane. Anne is working here for 6 months for...

Decent Hotel

Stayed for 2 days in May 2003 in an economic twin room. The rooms were comfortable, of adequate size and spotlessly clean. Although the hotel is a little out of the way from the town centre, there is a tram stop 5 mins walk away. At night a taxi costs around 20 euros from the Leidesplein. All in all a decent hotel for the price. The only down side is that a lot of the main attractions aren't really within walking distance.
