... for the night which was right against the city wall. We stopped. We looked. We scratched our heads. There was no obvious signs of a hotel. Then Les said that a shabby looking building that butted up against the city wall must be the hotel. I thought, 'no way'!

Well, it was. I knocked on the door and a rather flustered lady answered who couldn't speak a word of English. I ...

And this tower is ...

Waking up this morning I was a bit sad that we were leaving. Lauterbrunnen is slow paced and absolutely stunning. It also reminded me of home because it's kind of like the Fraser Valley with a bit of Banff mixed in. The mountain villages are just beautiful and walking from village to village was so much fun.

Breakfast was really tasty, with eggs and bacon! The food was so amazing and prepared by Top ...
