    Up early to do our final packing to start the next leg the journey. We have been at Montefioralle for nine nights . I think I forgot to mention that another morning when we opened the front door, there was another basket full of freshly picked figs the size of tennis balls. My goodness they were beautiful.     ... train a few minutes more.
    We were on the train to Pisa, aboard the Frecciabianchi line, one of the three fast rail lines that operate in Italy. We had first class tickets, having waited till the last minute and them being the only ones available- not complaining though.. It was nice & comfy and relaxing. The train journey took a smidge under 3 hours, dumping us at Pisa Centrale.

    ... in that monster to keep it from falling over, it had better get attention. It is made of marble and was built on sand. It should have been swallowed up entirely by now. We arrived early so we could move through pretty quickly. The Leaning Tower of Pisa leans in one direction, and Pisa's Baptistery across the way leans in the opposite direction.
