      ... the keys. Long story short- I waited for about 40mins until she finally came back! I was certainly getting worried that's for sure!       ... up and leans the other way as you climb the spiral. It felt as if I was being buffeted on a ship in a storm. There are 600 steps to the top and the track of the steps are worn form 800 years of tramping feet. The worn section is not in the middle of the steps as you would expect, but follow the path of the sway.. Sometimes the left side, sometimes the right. So very steep .       ... be pretty creative with our meal planning! The next morning we woke up, and took a train to Viareggio and spent Valentines Day on the beach! Once again, we were the only ones in bathing suits, and almost the only ones on the whole beach!       ... and the Medicis as Goliath. Regardless what his motivation was, turning the corner to see David was a jaw-dropping experience.

      Our day was capped off with gelato. I had a scoop of dark chocolate called fondette and a scoop of chocolate hazelnut. I will never be able to eat ice cream again. It has to be gelato!
