... and we reached Horsetooth rock where we took some photos. It was amazing- the view is insane. On one side its flat as far as you can see- the plains. The other side is an ongoing view of mountains. So bizarre! I also thought it funny that they called the start of the rockies the 'foothills' where I would just call them mountains haha.

Finally, the tunnel! I knew it would be warmer and dry inside. I had hoped the other side of the tunnel would reveal sunshine and calm weather.
