After lunch we walked around to the Old Fortress. It was an incredible place, built almost 800 years ago by the Byzantines to guard the trading route. ...

Today was a free day. Nothing planned. A few people rented cars and went for a drive around the island. I decided to save my money and just stay at the hotel. Had a sleep in, then lounged by the pool and finished a book I had been reading. Got myself an espresso (been having coffee withdrawals!) and then a bit later got a coffee ...
