The other route is all the way back up Stelvio and down the magical East pass which I took photos of earlier this morning.

There is snow all around us but the roads are clear. It is a really picturesque area, not much to do except admire the scenery. From Bolzano, we drove back down Lake Garda and stayed at Sirmione, a little community ...

... that was a nice change and good for me as it is all gluten free! After taking her home for her afternoon rest, we headed back down the mountain to Fiera, and met up with Anna, Nicola and Monica and headed up a different mountain to a beautiful wildlife look out tower, that Nicola (who is Anna's brother and an architect) designed. Unfortunately it was a little too soon after lunch and as we reached the look out tower, Brodie lost all his lunch :( he definitely takes ...

... cycling through the Dolemites, which has some of the most stunning cliff mountain views in the world... starting right to the east of Bolzano. Gotta save something for next time... My Alps hike definitely can't end here in Bolzano. I head out into the evening. Grab something to eat at a Bangladeshi run doner shop, where he gives me some tips on what places to visit and avoid when I visit Bangladesh... someday... On through ...
