Saacha's Last Day

... night in the quest for something different, we decided on bruschetta. More bread I know... But wait for it.... we don't have a toaster or oven, so I fried the bread in chilli oil to make it crispy, then I smothered it with the thickest pesto I could find and broke fresh mozzarella over it. Una Macchiata con latte and one of those was all I could muster. We managed. The coffee was great but I will go without the milk tomorrow, and I don’t think I will have too many more pastries for brekky. The bar had a constant stream of people coming ...

... are hoping that we can find  some different flavors in Florence.  We are kind of getting somewhat tired of Italian food, there is not a lot of variety, and it is kind of bland, Jon really wants to ask for some red pepper flakes. We love our spicy food, so we are looking forward to that when we get home. We got to do some more face time with the boys and we loved seeing their little faces and listening to their high-pitched voices; I am missing them so much today. ...
