... rocks, fishing and swimming. And heaps and heaps of caves and divers. We would constantly just turn off the boat and drift and sit. We are a quiet trio and every now and then one of us would make a comment…. “ this is amazing” or “bloody bewdiful!!!” We cruised in to have a closer look at Rapallo’s Marina which is much bigger than Santa Margherita’s and Portofinos and then back into dock by 6.30.

... was bad. What can I do? Nothing! And then, of course, with that blow to my self esteem, in came all those negative thoughts that I try and keep under control. "What a looser, what a failure and now, to make matters worse OLD!!

There was nothing left to do but have a piece of foccacia with Italian sausage, a glass of wine and a lie down.

The markets for our daily supply of fruit and veg again. I am going to the same family every morning now and they are helping me with my Italian. Sadly, my brain really struggles to remember the word structure but I hope I'm getting better. So much of my day is spent trying to convert what I want to say into Italian. By the time I’ve worked out how to say it, the moment has completely passed.
