... really made it real. I was blown away by seeing the Stoa that has been reconstructed for the Agora museum. The building was lines of beautifully done columns and every detail was like the original except for the lions on the top of the building that drain water do not have tongues like the originals so water apparently goes everywhere when it rains. ... Francisco. The cost was 60€ with tip which turned out to be a real bargain. We were met at Pireus port by Billy and his Mercedes Van at 8:00 am. We headed out to the Acropolis first which was a good decision. We beat all the tours and were able to get pictures without many people in the background. I went to the museum this morning after a little travel planning. The museum was full of to bursting with statues, ceramic- pots, statues, bronze, gold and a section on Egypt. CONCLUSION: In all we had an exceptional stay, made friends here, and we have already told friends to visit. We long to be back! Thank you Noda and Thanasi for the warm hospitality. Keep the good work up guys! Your hotel is a Gem and you are unbeatable hosts! You have reasons to be proud of.
