... are quick to board, except one, where we had to wait for up to 20minutes for these tourists to make a show, finally on the road or at least we thought we were, we stop at the travel centre And these tourists that we had to wait for are taken off our bus, and transferred to another apparently ours was a English speaking tour and they were some other language, French we think. ... we toured the ancient Agora. There we listened to stories and visited Hephaestus' temple. The ancient Agora was like a marketplace for the people of Athens. There they held assemblies, auctions, and traded. After were were finished touring Athens, We got on a ferry and got dropped off at the island Poros, where we then got on a sailboat for a week.

But we went down a side street which was crammed with people and found an improvised outdoor market in a pedestrianised street. ... rain! On the way the girls saw a jewelery shop and jokingly pointed it out to me.. I said.. "no more jewelery" but as GJ had entered the shop hoping to buy herself a ring I just had to wander in for a look.. that was my first mistake!! Deb and GJ are such bad influences on me as they egged me on to buy not only the bracelet I was looking at but another and also a ring to match!! ... it bobbing in the water, one of our fenders had come untied as was also fading into the distance. I quickly turned the boat back and gave the helm to Kathie, this would be good practice for MOB, (man overboard) I got the telescopic pole and almost retrieved it first time but not quite, on the next pass Kathie had taken us a little closer we saved our fender and were back on track for Aegina again.
