It was after 8pm when they all ...

We were up early and on the road by 8am. We dropped the linen back to Averil, did a quick stop at the bakery and headed on our way. The GPS was saying we had a seven hour drive in front of us. During the morning we made good time and decided to detour to Amboise for lunch. We sat at a restaurant outside the gates of the chateaux and ate a quick lunch. I had a goats cheese salad, boys had pasta and icecream ...

      Day 10

A travel blog entry by 4girls on Jul 10, 2014

Finally we enjoyed a full English home cooked Breakfast at 8:30am consisting of bacon, eggs, toast, cereal and fruit. We went straight back to our room for another sleep before heading for the picnic at 10:30am, however when the alarm went off, walking an hour to have a picnic in the windy rain didn't seem like such a good idea, so we slept till noon. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing with lollies, chips, friends and alcohol. ...
