Bye Bye Brugge... Hello London!
... a huge thank you to them both for being such gracious hosts, and for Jaey for inviting me there both times and being so kind and generous.
Alas, it was time for me to catch my train to Brussels then to London. The train ride was uneventful, and actually the eurostar is incredibly efficient. Rain Rain Go Away!!!
Another lazy start to the day, YAY. It was pouring rain today so Djuna didn't go to school (haha), Jaey had to leave early in the morning to sort out some papers before he goes on his next ship this week so I had a lovely sleep in.

Holy Blood and Hoppy Beers in Brugge
... They were totally fabulous! Different than the Swiss chocolate in some ways but very similar in its differences from American chocolate. I think the main one is that they don't put wax in their chocolate-- apparently ours is loaded with wax. Gross.

... group of French students who travel around Europe displaying their fire "art". It's really unlike anything I have ever seen. Even now, I'm sure you are having a hard time imagining how fire can possibly be art. I did too before I got there. They were very creative with how they manipulated, held and used the fire to create art. It wasn't only the fire which they created.
