Riding the Rails to Dandong
... walked around the train. The time passed very quickly. As we were leaving the train, we met a lovely couple from Shenyang who were originally from the UK, but have lived in Germany for 20 years.
We arrived in Dandong around 9:00 p.m. and took at taxi to our hotel - Life's Business Hotel. The rooms were great for about $32 US. Breakfast was not included, but was only $3.50 US for the buffet.

Food: From Farm to Table
... farm machine, which is kind of amazing considering how much farm land we passed. Was all this work done by people alone? I didn't see any water buffalo, but I did see some mule-pulled carts. Dusty little towns sprang up here and there along with farm stands selling fruits and veggies.
