    ... home of a farm family... They served us homemade cheese, breads, fried plantains, and, of course , coffee. A very interesting experience! After the rafting ended, we stopped in a corner store which had several older iguanas as "pets" outside ...great chance for some closeup pictures!     ... arrived. The following morning we awoke early around 6 in order to catch a bus to the nearby rainforest reserve. We trekked for a few hours around the rainforest and unfortunately we only witnessed a few coati and birds. It would of been nice to see tree frogs and more wildlife but I suppose you can never guarantee that. When in the reserve we also visited a hummingbird gallery which was spectacular. ...

    Another day at CASEM. We have reached the point in our trip where we love our team, but are frustrated by our project. I recall this feeling on service trips from college so I know it is not an isolated feeling, but I feel it anew and from the vantage point of a 12 year old boy.
