    ... intentions to have "Kids Days" has only resulted in two Kids Days so far - for their birthdays.     ... but a great shortcut to continue along our journey. We made our way to near the next yellow road (yay highway!), but first had to detour around a ton of road construction. Apparently, the entire section of route 4 here is being rebuilt into an overpass. So, at this point, there's just a ton of traffic and construction and lane shifts. It was slow going for about a half hour, but then it picked up and we were on our way.

    3 days in San Juan was enough, especially as the prices were increased because of the high season.
