... fishing. Had 1 trout and 2 rockbass. They were about 6-8" each. Thats keeper size for them i guess. Any way he told us about a covered bridge we should see, so we drove over to Stovall Mill Covered Bridge and saw the bridge. (pics with this blog). We went to the welcome center and got some info about things to do and see. Will plan a couple day trips out and update as we do ...

Walked around Helen and took a few nice pictures of the architecture, and got some penuche fudge at Hansel and Gretel candy shop.
Buzzed back and stopped to get some laundry soap in Waynesville. Chilling tonight and doing some laundry.
I love riding down here, but it is much more tiring than straight "highway humping"!

Hitting the 400 toll booth without dropping the quarters was the final touch to a wonderful trip.
And now, at 2:12 in the morning of 3 August, I'm tired and have remembered all I can.

We made our way off the square to a Mexican restaurant for some real booze. By then we were tired of wine. I got them to make me an 1800 Reposado and Mr. Pibb. From there we returned to the square and the Bourbon Street Grill, located above a couple of shops. There was a 45-minute wait. The stairwell was terribly hot, so we waited out on the street curb. The wait wasn't really worth it, unfortunately. ...
... ever had. From there we walked over to Shena****n's, wherein we thought we could get some good Irish beer and food. We were disappointed. Both food and drink were quite commonplace. The remarkable conclusion to the evening was the deluge outside, some of which created a rivulet under Deborah's chair. It stopped just as Roy and I left to get the car.
