A lot of driving today sadly leaving the beautiful mountains, heading to Graz. Graz is the 3rd largest capital of Austria, but more of an industrial hub, no mountains etc. Our hotel is about 10km out of the city centre booked here because I couldn't get a city centre hotel, have learnt today that's because the Austrian Grand Prix is on, which is one of the huge races ...

    Schloss at Graz

... were still quite a lot of brickwork as well as a clock and a bell tower. Apparently the city paid a ransom to save these. We have a long day travelling tomorrow getting up at 4:30 so we spent the late afternoon packing and clearing up. swathes of the surrounding residential area were destroyed.
The tourist office runs a walking tour
around the old city which worked really well for us as it ...

everything, clothes, food etc in situ. She obviously has an interest
in things Indian as an incense smell pervades. The nose tunes out to
    it after a short while.
Graz is a university town with loads
of people whizzing around on bikes so one needs to keep ones wits
    sharpened to survive.

Today, Brian pushed the envelope of his comfort zone, walking around this huge spa in a bathrobe and slippers...and that was before we ran into the naked man and woman heading to the sauna. That was enough to convince us to skip the sauna.

But there is lots to do in this very unusual spa. We have spent two days lazing around the thermal pools, getting pedicures, Reading and napping. Rogner Bad Blumau is reminiscent of Gaudi's architecture ...
