    Caught a taxi about 15 minutes away from our hotel to Ma'am Rhodora's church. It is the United Church of Christ of the Philippines. As you see from the photo it was a Presbyterian Church until they, the Methodist and others amalgamated. Still had a very Presbyterian feel with its choir and liturgy. Ma'am Rhodora and her son Ray sing in their choir. Her late husband Vic was the pastor a number of years ago. Vic was the one that started the CHE program ...

    ... 6 years of being a true 'road Dawg' I made the move. My reasons: 1. stable government 2 one.dollar 40 pesos 3. 7100 islands in the country 4. nice people open to western cultures 5. most westernized country in Asia 6. most of the people speak fluent English 7. they love 80's music here (my era)
