        ... 6 years of being a true 'road Dawg' I made the move. My reasons: 1. stable government 2 one.dollar 40 pesos 3. 7100 islands in the country 4. nice people open to western cultures 5. most westernized country in Asia 6. most of the people speak fluent English 7. they love 80's music here (my era)
        8. still easy to take vacation in Thailand and continue to explore other parts of Asia (still love Thailand)...In case your wondering the reason why ...

        ... as a second breakfast. It is much better than the first. Before it becomes necessary to roll Ian out of the cafe, we leave and head for the mall. It's shut. We kill an hour sitting in the only spot of greenery for miles around then having a little wander. We follow the wandering by hitting an internet cafe for a bit before heading back to the mall. It's open and it has a cinema. The new James Bond is showing so we buy tickets for 1.50! and settle down for a few hours ...

        ... waters and have been sighted in various locations. A famous spot is in Donsol, Sorsogon. Now, another spot rising to fame is just in Cebu. This is quite accessible than in Donsol, for those who live and who favor the Visayas Islands like me. Not only does Cebu boasts of its white beaches, it has now gained fame with the Whale Sharks, locally called 'tuki'. They are being treated like pets by the local fishermen as 5-7 of them have made the waters ...
