    ... colonized three times...for 300 years by the Spanish who made them indentured slaves and servants....americans...who really freed them from Spanish rule and set them on a path to sovereignty..,and the Japanese for only about 4 years before the Americans came and liberated them again.....so needless to say Americans are well liked here.

    ... Inn - which was really nice, clean,
    organised and with a free meal, WIFI, hot water and Cable TV. Pure
    luxury after a rustic couple of weeks, just a shame about the smell
    of sewers in the bathroom, sticky plastic mattress, ant invasion and

    ... br> walking through the shanty town so i decided to turn round! Walked past a
    machine shop come engine spares shop, the two guys where helpful and
    pointed me in the right direction. Managed to find the Fort, I had a
    walk around it was pretty interesting and that was the only two sights
    to see round cebu city!!lol. Every bank has armed guards consisting of pump action shot guns and Ak-47's along ...
