A Hiker By Any Other Name Stinks Just As Much

A travel blog entry by jwatson on Apr 04, 2015

... cool place. It seemed like a sanitized wilderness experience, and I don't really mean that in a bad way. There were signs and guides keeping people away from the real thing, and while that sounds negative, sometimes that's all you want. It was tempting to just stay there and experience the outdoors through their lens, maybe take a kayaking trip or go ziplining, but, as the poem goes, I had miles to go before I slept. But that didn't stop me from spending half the day doing ...

      Knoxville, Tennessee

We left Louisiana and headed towards Nashville where we have stayed before. Weather was decent but the weather all around us is calling for rain, hail, winds, etc., not the things you want to hear when pulling a big rig. When we reach the Smokey Mountains, Tony is in charge of the car and Robert the music.

With any spectacular scenery it is ...

I was glad that my instructor came up with the idea for us to work the flight from Charlotte to Knoxville instead of us deadheading because if it wouldn't have worked out, I would have not passed and would have had to do a few more hours with someone else. We got to Knoxville about 9:30 pm and I was done, I got my ...

Menu Item: Ham & Hash brown Omelet

Notes: Came with onions and 3 buttermilk pancakes also

Comments: It was good but not as good as I hoped. There wasn't enough substance to the omelet. The pancakes were just average.

Overall Impression: Below average omelet with average ...
