... They are cut into dark chocolate brown stone up to about five feet in height. The lighter the newer the cuttings as we learned. Originally the area was a peninsula jutting out into a prehistoric lake dated back to about 12, 000 years ago. I got a few pictures which will appear on Flickr when I get them editted.

... we learned how to craft an HET lesson. We were shown how to create a year-long "concept" (such as community) and four units that revolved around the concepts. We were then taught how to integrate different subjects and cover the necessary standards.

... I'm not gonna lie- I fell on my butt several times but mainly because I as too scared of going too fast and hitting other people on the slopes (I'm not too great at turning just yet!) I got to the bottom and of course... Went straight back up- 7 times!! Haha Paul didn't go again but he was happy to watch me and some of the other guys go back for more!
