... of my mother Tuesday morning.

The typical format for meals is banquet style in huge, very noisy dining halls. Usually we find something to eat though I find myself being more vegetarian here. Tom, of course, loves the chilli. We are also very adept with the chopsticks now. I can even pick up individual peanuts and corn kernels. I never thought 2 pieces of toast with strawberry jam (no butter, of course) could taste so good.

... be a lucky lucky man. It had everything, the lead actor arriving on a zip wire from halfway up the mountain face, fireworks, hidden fountains, CGI you name it, it was probably used in the show. Even though we didn't understand a word of what was being said, it was truly beautiful and by the end we all had tears in our eyes. To all my friends who are technicians or studying to be, the bar has been set for awsomeness.

... there was a young boy (about 8) with his father. Despite our excitement, we became very bored very quickly. At which point I produced cards and we started playing. I decided it would be nice if we asked the boy (he told us his Chinese name but Laura insisted on calling him Tom so will refer to him with this name) if he would like to join us. ... If they have no fare they will toot the horn to get your attention. So we were checking out which ones were just cruising around to get any fare (and wasting their petrol!) and which ones were regularly working! We decided to wander back along the other side of the river this time and saw a couple of stone masons amongst some flat stones that we realised were head stones, just on the side of the road.
