... areas have no regard for the beauty, simply throwing their rubbish here there and everywhere. Not to be too stereotypical, but its something I've noticed about all Chinese people that I've come across so far. It's a shame that such incredible landscapes aren't looked after more and are instead mined for their tourism.

After leaving our guesthouse we took a bus to another spot in the park where we could walk around. Where we got off the bus, there was a McDonalds. It was a huge McDonalds but wonders never cease, they had no bathrooms. I always thought you could at least rely on McDonalds for good bathrooms but not at this one. ... was filmed so they even had a few statues of the Avatar characters that you could take a picture of. It was unbelievable how many vendors selling food, drinks, and trinkets could be found. It seemed like every time you finished a section of stairs there was someone there trying to sell you something. We met our guide at the hostel in the morning before heading out to catch a cable car to Tianmen mountain. We ate breakfast along the way from street vendors - Tina has been pointing out all of the things that I must eat, and so far it has all been delicious.
