... after walking along the river, to get a good view of the mountains – little did we know that the whole park was basically made up of lots of 1.5 hours’ worth of steps to climb up and down for various good views! You could get a cable car up, but half of the awesome views were during the climb, not just at the top, so we enjoyed walking up the steps every day and then going down a different route. Such a beautiful and peaceful few days, in the ...

... I got very hyper when I bought a candyfloss that was bigger than my head for 3 RMB (30P). After the chaos of the fairground, we came across a man made lake which at sunset was rather beautiful (even with a little toddler going for a little tinkle in the water in full view of everyone around him).

We tried to hire a boat, but there were too many people on the lake and there we no boats available and so we gave up and went into town for dinner. While on the bus we started ...

... br> We spend another 90 minutes enjoying this part of the park and head for the next special treat, which is the elevator that descends over 1,000 feet of cliff in less than 2 minutes. We are thankful to be the first ones in the elevator, so have the “pole” position, right on the glass to enjoy and photograph the descent. It is quite a ride!!
To conclude our amazing day in this spectacular park, we had a fantastic 4 1/2 ...
