... for a bit of shopping, leaving us with Blake which of course we were very happy with. After lunch, we set off driving against the traffic once again on the dreaded M25 ring road but this time the traffic moved smoothly and it only took 1.5 hours to get to Itchen Abbas and a welcome cup of tea with Geoffs Mum. Things went downhill, transport wise, after we left the village as we were running late ...

We intentionally left our last day in London open and let Gavin and Cate decide what we should do today. That said, it wasn't too surprising that we started off our day at Harrod's "Toy Kingdom". Beyond was another cave, this one with a stage and rudimentary gallery. Squeezing into to a spot, where Laura could just about see and ...

Today we said goodbye to Norwich and our home for three months. There was of course the last minute worries, and the feelings that we had forgotten something, but overall the main feeling is excitement! We stopped off at a pub called the Golden Cross near our hotel at the travel lodge by Heathrow, for some traditional British pub food and drink. Cider, pies and sausages and ...
