Not sure I have spent enough $ with them directly to get me in. But I'm at 155K elite miles for the year with another 22K coming on this trip. So I think it just depends on the money amount to get invited.

Happenings in Houston
... tea for me so I told Dani I had a special mission for her, she had to ride her big wheel all the way to aunt Lena's and get mommy her tea.
