Once we had breakfast we headed off to do a wildlife Mississippi boat cruise ....the river is huge with many islands in the middle ...the river goes for about 2900 miles...from north to way down south. There are 3 rivers that connect ...Mississippi, Black and Minisotta rivers. Very impressive. We didn't have the paddle steamer ..as expected... But a small boat.was ok ..just not so grand. We were taken in a rented 20 passenger van from the Emmaus conference to the church building where the IBCM Hispano was being held and were immediately greeted with hugs from some of the girls on the Emmaus team (there to serve the meals), missionary friends from Paraguay, more friends from Peru and Colombia, and people we'd met in Uruguay. What fun!
