They disliked the car ride and I disliked saying goodbye.
Due to construction, we drove around Kansas City for 2 hours.
Celebrated Nick's birthday by going out for drinks at a chill bar.

I started by selling off the items I didn't want put into storage. I moved out of my condo and headed up to Atlanta to get my house prepared to put on the market. After 6 weeks full of fun and ************ the house, I headed ...

Although I had listened to Music and the Spoken Word in high school, my first live experience was in the Tabernacle in the early 60’s. While hearing the Choir on the radio, I remember the sweet, blended voices and the soothing messages of Richard L. Evans. I encourage those reading this to locate ...

The Kanesville Tabernacle in Council Bluffs, Iowa, was built in 2½ weeks by 200 Saints in late 1847, to provide a meeting place for a conference held on December 27, 1847 at which Brigham Young was sustained as the second President of the Church. That conference marked the first time in modern Church history that Church membership sustained a First Presidency of the Church.

The evening's entertainment involved a trip back to the Casino for a buffet meal at $9.95 each. Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States marty_chrissie... the trip and the weather throughout the trip was much better than could have been expected. We had a few brief rain/snow squalls in Antarctica and a short period of fairly rough seas as we were bound for Cape Horn, but nothing like what we could have seen down there. Last year the smaller ship that made this voyage was not able to stop at the first two ports due to the weather.

Brian took us to the airport where we met the Kings. After checking in we all had lunch together...Jim, Carol, Chad, Todd, Joyce, Brian, and me. After lunch the boys took off and we headed to security. Our plane was a little late leaving, but nothing major.
We are to leave tomorrow and it is snowing in Omaha. The forecast
started at 1-2 inches. Now it is up to 5-8, tapering off at noon. Our
flight is scheduled to leave at 3:15 so we may be okay if the morning
flights don't back up and if the flight comes in from Dallas so it can
return to Dallas. This is shaping up to be like the time we went to
Sedona and the morning flights canceled. The other bad part is we have
a tight connection in Miami.
