This is obviously a popular spot.
Pushed on to Austin - my Airbnb place is a studio apartment above the garage of a nice house in a new estate in the suburb of Crestview approx. 6 miles from downtown.
Great place with a lovely host Shelley, who is a wedding consultant.

We ducked out of a night in Austin's music bars - I think age has caught up here.
Our final day in Austin was spent at the excellent Zilker Botanical Gardens with its display of 'fairy gardens', the Mount Bonnell viewpoint, and the Texas Army Museum (which is on base). We even found a healthy eating café for lunch - Austin is a bit different.
A good few days.
I did it! I whittled down my wardrobe (both summer, winter and workout clothes) into a few key items that will fit into what amounts to about one drawer's worth of space. (Not counting "nice" clothes which are hung.)

Luckily he wasn't a crazy serial killer, he was actually a very friendly, very chatty old dude who was a tour manager for a Beatles tribute band who didn't pay his taxes and got taken for 2.8 million by the IRS. He talked the whole time, he'd been to Hobart and stayed at the casino. It was a pretty cheap ride ...
