... who were really nice. The guy who is Czech is married to a Polish lady, so he speaks Czech, Polish, English, German (as he works for a German company) and Italian. Not bad.
He also told me about the train robberies and that in the Czech Republic if someone robs less than 5000 Krona ($300) then it is considered a mistake and nothing will be done. Talk about corruption.

DAY 7: Friday (Part 2)
We took a forever train ride from Auschwitz to Krakow (took 3 hours instead of 1). We all ventured to the old Market Square and had a delicious Polish meal: PEROGIES!! What a way to start Poland. After dinner the group split up. While I stayed in Krakow, others ventured off to Vienna for the rest of the weekend and met us back at home.

We checked into our hostel, which was kinda weird... very tripy with spray ...

On retuning I asked Helena to drop me off in Kazimierz - the Jewish Quarter. I wandered the streets for a while before settling down at the Ariel, a Jewish restaurant on Szeroca Street, for an early dinner.
