Today we finally got to have breakfast with some of our fellow Dutch Bike Tours travelers:

Erin and Beau (aka Team Australia)
Krista from Belgium
Nathalie and Denis (aka Team Switzerland)

It was during this breakfast that we found out that the two couples had taken the train instead of riding out from Gouda when it was raining. We didn't spend too much time chatting since everyone was anxious to get going.

... back we went to a tree nursery and got a live tree for Christmas, the tree came from Norway and arrived at the house later that afternoon. The tree nursery also had cats which I found really cuddly; a big fat red one, a black one and a grey and white kitten which was a bit shy. On the drive home we saw lots of sheep, geese, swans, goats, horses and cows. For dinner me, papa and Oma had pea and ham soup which was really yummy and then penne pasta in tomato-meat ...

... for a short while and had a coffee with her. She is a lovely lady, who loves to dote on Mark. She spoils him. Back at Ed & Carmen's, Ed prepared an awesome dinner of Tandoori Chicken, or Kip as they call chicken. We opened at bottle of Lambrusco wine we bought the other day for 1.89E, and it was pretty good.

... ship which had moved on to Bruinisse, we were treated to a Taste of Holland lunch with Dutch specialties and Dutch beer. During the afternoon we sailed towards Rotterdam, going through quite a few locks and docking in Rotterdam around 5pm.
