    We awoke to more fog, so had to wait for it to clear again, but this time it was not so long. It was more important today t have good visibility as we had to cross the busy shipping lanes. When we got out of the narrow canal and on to the Volkerak, we could see for - mile so we felt happy and carried on to cross at the narrowest point. We could see several barges but ...

    ... and the trip. Exactly what we hoped for. Good fun!
    -we pedaled on and finished the ride and were glad that it was a short day. The town of Willemstad looked quite quaint although the harbor kind of seemed like a scene. The hotel had a great location but small and stuffy rooms.

    Gary and John went to visit their friend Rob who is very sick with cancer. I caught the Metro to Rotterdam Centraal to activate the Eurail tickets and book our tickets to Munich.
