Travel Blogs from Cardiff
Our adventure begins with a very traffic-free drive down the M4 to Heathrow. After lots of chatting and swapping of sweets I realised that I had left something very important behind, on a chair in Whitchurch Primary School's staffroom. I had been very organised, surprising myself with my precision and attention to detail by arranging every ticket, ...
... just because they could.
The Butes were hilariously extravagant as only rich Victorians can be, google them if ever you are in need of a high society giggle. Amongst other things, they built a house with the sole purpose of hurting the eyes. Gold plating, mosaics, woodcarving, peacock wallpaper, the works. Plus he got to see me in convulsions trying to hold my bladder in the hunt for a relief safe from bobbies.
... really starting to feel like home! I started classes this morning, and my first one went well! It was a big lecture class, and I am pretty sure that my class was bigger than my graduating class at school. However, that won't stop me! It will be an adventure! I have another class tonight, and then more the rest of the week! I will be even busier than I was before! I will do my best to keep everyone updated though!
