... absolutely no liquids of any kind can be packed. So I had to go through lots of my stuff and get rid of most of it. Also no foods can be packed either. I spent my day cooking snacks for the trip with the unpackable food. We began packing up Evan's Xterra with what we will be bringing with us too. I have realized that we have so much stuff!
We are a week away from leaving!! Evan and I are are so excited and can't wait to get on the road. We still haven't gotten his official orders yet but it should be any day now (hopefully!). ... for Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA. We got to the front "gate" and there was a sign stating to find a site then check in at the office. There was a site right by the entrance, so I took it. We actually got here at a good time since there were about 6 coaches which pulled in after us and at least half of them are headed for Perry. Along I-75 there is a billboard which made me smile and glad I'm a Christian. It said BIBLE- Basic ...
... and headed towards Pembroke Pines. Husb had spent some time researching safe neighborhoods in that area, and decided on this particular Wal Mart based on his research. Needless to say, I think all Wal Marts are the same at this point. A lot of the late night clientele is sketchy, but it's a free place to sleep and we will continue to take advantage of it... it was just a one night stop en route to the Keys anyhow!
