Today we are being picked up by a limo to travel to Detroit Metro Airport to start our journey that Braedan has been dreaming for. We will be heading from Detroit to Atlanta and then on to South Africa we go. From Atlanta, we will be heading to Johannesburg for a quick stop and then we should arrive in Cape Town tomorrow night to get this adventure really started! ... was pretty uneventful, with endless miles of trees and fields. We stopped just before we crossed into Ohio for a bit of lunch, eating the left over pizza we had. Got in to our motel around 2 and were going to watch the race, but it’s not on TV here, so Dan dropped me off at a quilt shop while he went to Andersons. ... and onto Ohio for the night. We are staying in Perrysburg, Ohio tonight. We arrive very late, around 9:30 pm and we are both pretty tired. We are staying at a KOA (Kampgrounds of America). These are very nice campgrounds to stay at. They have everything you need and more. These campgrounds are great for one night or a week and for everyone from seniors to families. Many of them have pools, kid’s playgrounds, dog walking areas ...
- Easy drive but really didn't get far?!..despite explicit instructions I managed to get turned around ( ie lost)leaving Kitchener just as I did entering it!!!...not an easy "on/ off" from 401!!
- Mindless TV ....fits my mood tonight!!
