We flew into Spokane from BWI (Baltimore), on Southwest. It was hot when
we left BWI and cold and rainy is Spokane. We picked up our rental car
at the airport and drove to Missoula, still cold and rainy. We found a

We pushed hard today, and it was a challenging drive for the car up through the mountains and back down... and then up again. However, we, the car, and the animals all did great.

Free at Last
After spending our third night in the parking lot of the RV dealer, we regretfully had to leave for other adventures. The target was Glacier National Park. Now I have absolutely nothing, either good or bad, to say about the Missoula other than they have a great grocery store that is so memorable I've already forgotten it's name. Am excited to think about the possibilities of Glacier. More to follow!

Our journey across Montana took forever since Tommy had to drive about 50 due to winds that nearly blew us off the road. Thank heavens for a sway bar that he added to the RV. Otherwise, we may be in a ditch somewhere!

... dead" days. These are 2 and 1/2 days we planned into our trip to do absolutely nothing at all, so that we won't forfeit energy when exploring later in the journey. (pretty smart eh?)
