Once we got past Monterey, we got into some highway driving and made up a bit of time, but then we had to go over some more mountains, which slowed us down again. ... trip of a lifetime. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing. And while I still wish it wasn't over, I'm very glad it happened. I know I will never forget any of it. For now though, I'm eagerly awaiting my next European adventure, as well as the Olympics returning to the U.S. I plan on volunteering. Until then, and even then, London 2012 will be my favorite Olympics.
