      ... days in cities, when it was likely the children would encounter homeless people, they would make sandwiches, buy a bag of apples, and give them out along the way, not to "the homeless", but to "people". In doing so, our hope is to teach them that people less fortunate than us are not to be feared, but to be helped in any little way we can. The kids made and wrapped the sandwiches, put them in a bag, and have placed it by the door. We'll see what happens? : )

      Today we woke up early and went to have breakfast at Hollywood Cafe - a small place very well recommend on Trip Advisor.

      There is a waiting list with people hanging outside waiting for a table but I felt it didn't take that long - we waited no more than 15 minutes for a table for 2 and the food was very nice with big portions. We paid $42 for the meal including tips.
