Just as crazy as when I was here with Davy in 1999. We flew in for a few days before catching an overnight train to Eugene to meet up with our freinds Jack & Betsy. Now that overnight train was quite an experience, but that is to tell another time.

Walking to Union Square in the morning, we saw the massive Christmas tree already set up as well as the fancy shops and hotels surrounding. After a short stint of shopping we headed over to the Ferry Building Farmer's Market for a delicious lunch ...
... 5 from the States and 1 from Korea, and we ate and chatted. It was very interesting to hear how they celebrate Christmas and what they are doing for the holidays. Most of the Americans are flying home, but they have been here for 2 or more years.
