    We started the day with a slight sleep in. It didn't help that mine and Ryan's room was right on the street, so the garbage truck had been waking us up about 3:00 am every morning - we were tired. We left and went over the road so Ryan could get his daily coffee fix; he has been drinking espressos because he thinks American's coffee is pretty weak, & adding milk removes all coffee flavour.     ... 5 from the States and 1 from Korea, and we ate and chatted. It was very interesting to hear how they celebrate Christmas and what they are doing for the holidays. Most of the Americans are flying home, but they have been here for 2 or more years.

    So… we’re off to Australia next Saturday for 2 weeks. We’re taking our laptop so, hopefully, will be able to keep in touch via email.

    ... hit the thick cables you can feel the bridge vibrate under your feet. A lighthouse and another fort across the bridge. After driving along the bridge we decided to gamble and choose a random attraction in the gps that was near by. Ended up in a national park information office. The very keen naturalist directed us to a lighthouse and a military fort. Andrew was quite devastated when he saw a sign saying there was a missile test site there and it was closed to visitors.     ... that was built for the Panama-Pacific art exposition in 1915 , it is an imposing structure the can be noticed from miles around. We then made or way through the Presidio , Sea Cliff and stopped for lunch at a Polish deli called Seakor European Deli, we ordered a roll with meat and salad and the meat was the larger portion.
