        ... something I'd not had before and something totally American. So biscuits and gravy it was. So the biscuits are basically a savoury scone and the gravy is kind of like a cheesy white sauce. Not what I would imagine biscuits and gravy to be.         ... than normal for the time of year. Getting sun-withdrawal symptoms and wanting to warm up a bit, we continued west having to miss out on our stop in Mississippi. A shame, because reputedly Meridian has the best ice cream in the land (and we all know which crew member loves ice cream)!         ... waited on the introductory film to start, we watched a short video by a pilot in the cockpit of a plane explain all the buttons, switches, and such. Pretty interesting!
