We also went to visit the French Laundry organic vegetable garden. They have 8 gardeners taking care of the vegetables there. This garden is of a much smaller scale than the one at Manoir. But here they use their own produce and try to design the menu around it. They even raised chicken there and also micro vegetables.

We just returned from trip to the winery. It was another windy day which is unusual for here. We had a lovely day which was a great way to spend our anniversary. We are settled in for another night. Tomorrow we are off to visit David's brother and his family outside of Sacramento.

We checked into our hotel another Westin, wow it's really something they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with a full living room and kitchen and a huge deck which over looks the river. Our first stop in Napa was to the local Oxbow Market just down the street it is filled with local wineries selling food and wine, a fresh farmers market, fresh cheese, olives ...
