Edd scrubbed the bathroom to within an inch of its life and I unpacked the groceries in the kitchen, then turning my attention to walk in wardrobe and our boxes and bags that needed to be put in drawers, on shelves and hung up.
I made butter chicken with basmati rice and corn on the cob (for starters), which Edd enjoyed. ...
... and we were home and tucked up in bed by 1am. It rained quite a bit on the way home and on Maroondah Highway near Bunnings the road was covered in thick hail which must have only recently happened. It was a few centimetres thick. When we arrived home the deck also had a lot of hail on it.
In a few short hours we will be waking up to go back to work, it’s now Monday morning and another great holiday is done!

... our first year here in Melbourne, so we're always pleased and proud when we find that we're familiar with an area, or know how to get from one place to another without our GPS. At the moment we're not sure how we'll be celebrating our one year anniversary here, but we do have a few little trips planned.

We were up by eight and off downstairs to get breakfast. Today we had a plan. Unfortunately this plan didn't include me feeling utter pants. After breakfast (today we dabbled and added pancakes to our morning ritual) we headed to Aldi because Becky had read that it was a cheap place to get food, and we can't afford to keep eating out.
