    Sitting in Doha airport at local time 11.55pm (your time 6.55am) looking forwatd to the next leg, only 16 or so hours til we arrive in Melbourne. Pre organized transfer did not arrive so we did have a last minute fast italian taxi ride to Venice (Marco Polo) airport.

    ... restaurant. Meisha and I also took a 2am hike up Mount Batur to catch what he heard was a spectacular sunrise. Sadly, it was a particularly cloudy morning, so while it was a beautiful sight to behold, I think on another day it would have been supreme. Still, it was worth it and we made some good friends on the trip that I'm sure we'll meet again on our travels. We then parted ways as I made my way to Gili Trawangan. This is definitely one of my favourite spots in the world ...

    ... board, but getting very close to departure time we decided we should wander up and see what was happening. Just as well as the flight was almost fully boarded and they were possibly not far off paging us. We tried to tell them it was not showing on the board but I think the language barrier was a problem. We arrived back in Melbourne to be met by our family, what a wonderful surprise as the arrangement was to be picked up in the drive through pick-up lane. What a wonderful 6 weeks ...
