We had a 15kg allowance for baggage, and I thought I was a brilliant packer with my 14.5kg. As you can see in the photo, my bag swamped me, and so maybe I wasn't so brilliant after all. As we travelled across Asia I dumped kilos of stuff because it just wasn't worth the pain and humiliation, and ended up with a more respectable bag size.
