    A taste of the neighborhood

Cherie and I went downtown Raleigh and looked at many of the old historical houses. There were some neat homes. Matching the house to the description in the brochure was difficult. The flight from Denver to Cary again was bumpy on take off and landing. I was moving from cloud system to cloud system. I didn't get a window seat this time. I didn't get to see the Mississippi or other landmarks. I was greatly looking forward to ...

The journey was uneventful and Ben saved a few more brain cells along the way. We found a good breakfast place at the airport and enjoyed our last German meal and free WiFi. The plane was late boarding and took off nearly 2 hours behind schedule. Rich and ...

Stopping in Raleigh, NC to visit Aunt Irma

A travel blog entry by rollinos on Oct 12, 2014

... to be there. We stayed for dinner and the food was ok but the ice cream cups for dessert were so frozen you couldn't get it out! We left Aunt Irma's at 6:15 and headed south to Garner, NC for our campground for the night at 117 Buffaloe Acres RV resort. Another missed turn in the misty rain and after dark and we had to turn around in a gas station this time. Fortunately, the manager of the campground met us and led us into our site. Cozy and in for the ...
