... so I hear). I know, not my normal laying on the beach with a drink in my hand kind of vacation.... but I am drawn to go on this journey (not sure why yet... but... I'm going!)

Thank you for all of your well wishes. They really mean a lot to me. Oh, and a special shout out to David H who sent me a translation of "I would like a beer, please" in Portuguese! :)

One of us went to the Chicago Institute of Art, one of us went the the Sale in Macy's and then chilled in Millennium Park with a hot dog and the other squeezed a little more value out of the bus tour ticket. Guess who did what? The bus ...

Thursday 29th August We were up by 5am and in the smoke filled air from Reno to Chicago by 7 30. Victoria came to the airport with us as she was flying to Las Vegas to join Ron for a wedding. It was sad to say goodbye to her especially for Pauline since their friendship goes back over 25 years but promises were made to meet up again soon. Arrived in Chicago airport hotel at 2.30pm (Chicago time which was 2 hours ahead of Reno time) Dumped our bags and got a taxi into ...
