    ... 2,000 artifacts, many in excellent condition. The ship was transporting goods to the gold fields so it included many mining tools such as shovels, blasting powder, and pick heads. It also included all sorts of food and wines. They have stabilized much of the collection and representative displays are shown in a climate controlled room.

    Spent the night in the Cracker Barrel in Council Bluffs. Breakfast there. Headed to Horseshoe Casino. Had a good time there. Ate at the Binion. Played for awhile.     ... was priceless and we got it all on video! We stayed up until almost 5am drinking and catching up. The next day we drove around and explored Wichita and tried to go to their wildlife park, only to discover they closed for the season the weekend before!
