I'm drowning in hippo dung, but things are going well so far. Lots of exciting information will be forth-coming soon! And I am sure I will have time to have an adventure or two while I am here, so there may also be some more fun travel blogs in the future. But ...

... it is to meet other people and to find out just how close we live to one another and even know some of the same people.

  • We were all happy to see a regular group leaders back as they know how to keep things moving and having a lot of fun. Yesterday was a tour of Jacksonville. We met our tour guide at St. Johns town Center which is really an open mall. She was a fascinating lady of 75 years old. And believe me she knew how ...

... waiting patrons. When we got there, the place was brimming with people outside, all waiting to be seated. Our immediate thought was at least an hour wait. Roy went in to put our name on the waiting list and within minutes he reappeared waiving us in. I’m still at a loss for how he managed it, but he claims the young women at the hostess desk took one look at his mustache and after a short conversation, we got moved to the top of the list! ...
