24 total states (we rode thru Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and of course Pa. twice - when we went out and when we came back)
Averaged about 9 1/2-11 hours a day in saddle (except 1 day in San Francisco)

She also loved to talk and told us how Americans really don't like to travel too far from what they know, their families are important to them so they generally all stay in the same town and live nearby supporting each other. (not really convinced that stands for everyone, but it is how here family are). She also told us that the Amish people can be really mean, especially the women. ...
