... made you realise just how tiny us humans can be and how majestic and powerful Mother Nature can be! I suggest that anyone who has the opportunity to see it does see it, as it really is almost meditative to watch.  They may not be the biggest falls in the world but the sheer volume of water (the falls and Great Lakes apparently hold 20 percent of the world's fresh water) makes these truly impressive! Speak to you next time from the nation's capital as we head to Washington D.C! xoxo ...

... getting the coals going, but after putting them in the BBQ they were nice and toasty. Basically the coals sit in a dish and ontop is a an inverted dish with a lip so you can BBQ meat in the centre and the juices run down into the soup that you are cooking around the side. It was pretty cool, but we put too many coals on so it was really sizzling! It was a really good communal experience and afterwards we had a go making S'mores with Graham crackers, Hersheys chocolate ...

... got picked to ride in the front of the Helicopter as "co-pilot" (lol), We watched the helicopter before us take off and it did some wild moves to enable the girl to take a photo of everyone. Up we went for the 10 minute flight. I recorded some footage and tried to take a lot of photos. It would have been nice to just be able to sit back and enjoy the ride without having to take photos etc, as you don't seem to get the same experience ...

We have decided that we will spent the majority of our time on this trip in the Cook Islands. We may end up visiting only the Cooks, but we will split our time among a few of the islands.

We chose this group because we had been told that the Cooks were much like the South Pacific of old...like Tahiti ...

... with shutters, no fencing separating properties, beautifully mowed lawns and very neat and tidy. It looked so weird with no fencing. Farming obviously the main industry in this area with lots of corn crops in very neat corn rows, just like the hair! All very pretty.

First stop was the corning glass museum, well we were herded off into a theatre to learn all about the art of glass blowing, then subjected to a live demonstration then ...
