        ... court and there was a hamburger joint called Johnny rockets so thought that will do but 60 dollars later sheesh no won,t eat there again, we went back to the room and decided to morrow to go to the American side or as i call it the Dark-side, so see u all tomorrow.

        The Sun again was with us today and another beautiful day was promised so after breakfast we set off for the dark-side well blow me down they want us to pay 25cents to get out of Canada, I would of thought ...

        ... only dismay is that they didn't share it with me That was truly a surreal moment and worth a mention! Then the African American couple (her name was Cookie and he was Sam (jazz saxophonist, now retired) brought out home made fish cakes and biscuits (cheesy scones). Priceless!

        ... s never like that and the spray is usually directed the opposite way, typical! As we reached the viewing point the wind and water picked up even more and I got absolutely soaked. Didn't stop me trying to get photos though! I opted to leave my Nikon behind and just take my point and shoot camera which was just as well with the conditions we faced!         ... the wind is coming towards you, you will get you quite wet. Wear "wash and wear" clothes. We drove the car across to the bridge to the US, parked the car and spent about 4 hours on Goat Island, where we had lunch overlooking the Falls.

        We do recommend the Old Fort Niagara, about an hour away from the Falls on the US side. The State Historic site opens at 9 am. Allow about 2 hrs for your walking tour. Take a jacket, as it can get ...
