Today was started with a breakfast for champions, put on by the hotel. Eggs, bacon, chicken nuggets!?! Yes, I had chicken nuggets for breakfast, first time ever I reckon! After our epic breakfast, we sat on a train for two hours for the trip to Munich. Getting tickets for us and our bikes using the ticket machine was surprisingly easy. ... Not enough of the palace was open and the parts we did see were in very urgent need of repair. Not enough information was given to visitors about what goes on at the palace now, who maintains it or why more of it is not open to view. Something was off with it for me. Its crazy how much other countries know about US culture, and how little we know about theirs. In the end ...

The bar was decorated as a Portuguese bar, the owner was still nursing a heartache caused by a long lost Portuguese lover. Sunday was filled with oversized brains...but we waved to Timo and Anja as we headed for the hills of Salzburg. Serendipitously, it was not goodbye but see you later as our ...

After just a couple of hours sleep, we made it to Munich, Germany! I came without a boarding pass, so I needed to stop at a ticket booth to pick one up. As I approach the lovely blonde woman to pick up a ticket, she proceeds to tell me there is a handling strike in Portugal and the morning flight has been cancelled and possibly the flights over the next few days. She then asked if I am on the 11am flight, I respond yes. So, while Krista is browsing in the airport ...
