The train trip from Spittall to Salzburg was very comfortable once we had managed to get on board, free myself from the door that tried to trap me, find our compartment and stow our luggage. then we could sit down and enjoy the scenery. On our way back to the train station, we stopped by Mirabell Palace and gardens. The gardens were intricately detailed with patterns among the florals. I enjoyed admiring the statues that lined the garden and picturing scenes from the Sound of Music, which had certain scenes filmed here. We boarded the train back to Munich to ensure we arrived with plenty of time to grab a bite to eat and board our sleeper train for our next stop...
